Life 101 ~ Year Two #3

Has life become too impersonal for you? Are you aware how easily we go through life oblivious to caring about strangers? Of course it's due, in great part, to the ever-increasing number of new faces in our communities, yet the worst of it has been our obsession with our individuality. We strive to make money and get-ahead of "our neighbors" (we're not one with nature).

Although there are those of us that DO work to save the animals and critters man continues to abuse and destroy. Thank you all for what you do!

Even though we may not look at ourselves as "selfish". We want what's best for us as individuals; not for the highest good for all. That may mean we'd have to become involved, or step outside our comfort-zones; and who wants that? We've always considered humans better than other mammals, so why would we look to nature for the obvious method to the madness?

Not even to mention the spectrum of acceptance of judgments we've taken for granted and don't question. We honestly don't view each other as equals. Equal; meaning we're mostly all here doing the best we can with what we're working with.

But we can't blame evolution; it is what it is. In general our species continued to look to a God, and we sacrificed the power of personal-awareness. Very enlightened humans did their best to explain the power of goodness, yet it was always linked to some god. And human separateness never allowed us to agree on the God. And that never allowed personal-awareness to gain the momentum it deserved because it's extremely powerful.

Things are only going to keep further separating us from each other. Young people don't have much clue what's happening. Technology has brought convenience to us, to the point we don't even need to look someone in the eyes for the majority of our interactions.

And the more we avoid personal-connections, even with friends, the weaker the energy of goodness becomes. It's very sad. Our race is quickly becoming divided into two unequal groups. Technology allows us to avoid each other, and we're slowly becoming absolutely powerless against the wealthy rule-makers. I absolutely understand how communism first appeared to make sense. But let's not go there.

I want opinions, any and every. Please don't just read this. Please give me your opinions, your insights, your beliefs, your questions, your time, and your hearts. The time is NOW. I have the time to think about this, and I'm doing what I can to open the hearts and minds of those that feel we've got to do something; rather than just avoiding the core of our evolution.

Always ~ LL
