Humans certainly rise to the occasion when a community, let's say, faces disaster. It's as if we forget about self and we care as if we're family. Are these actions instinct? Yes, we're driven to follow our silent heart at such times. If this doesn't have to be taught to us, what is it?!? Well it's not the intellectual conscious brain, so it's got to be a subconscious trigger.
Go ahead and disagree. What ya gonna back it up with? Can't; it's ego playing with the heart, which holds the key to all we are. Humanity wants to believe it can explain everything. In 1983 a Canadian doctor wrote, in a medical journal, on the heart's potential abilities. Interesting; I can't find it today. Finally, the heart has been studied, in depth, by HeartMath Institute since 1991.
The heart is fascinating and awareness is better late than never. Somewhere humans denied thousands of years of evidence of the "subconscious mind", but it isn't scientific, so "no good". And certainly, what intellect would ever say our DNA is involved? How could we? We're more interested in ego-logically prioritizing.
May the great mystery make sun rise in your heart ~
